stay (just a little bit longer)

music is more than the soundtrack to our lives
It is a force majeure that not only inspires, it defines
 for every moment there is a melody
 some seemingly random lyric
 that conjures a long lost memory
 or perfectly defines that mood
 tells you the where you are now
 and shows you where you could be 
 it makes you smile
 makes you cry
 makes you want to move and get down
 makes you think you can sing
 makes you believe
 reminds you it's OK to dream... 

There is so much more to say 
but words aren't always the way
this is for all of you beautiful creators, 
marvelous music makers
idk if I can bear another loss
at least your legacies will linger 
long after your gone
and hopefully inspire generations to come
and for those still here
