Recorded on July 2, 2020. Two untitled poems about poems. One I call something like a rhythm and the other is about a blank piece of paper.
The question of the night is about influences. Tonight’s host is Leo, aka The Chef Comic, check more of him out here.

festivity is surely to last a week or more
but I don't keep score,
It depends how it's handled.
Will the disbursement of disgust
spread evenly across all platforms?
In this easily distracted age
controversy is complicated
Every “Oh My Gah what did they do?!”
gets it's 15 minutes
before being replaced with another scandal
before it's what-abouted into oblivion.

Let it be the dream it used to be.
Let it be the pioneer on the plain
Seeking a home where he himself is free.
(America never was America to me.)
Let America be the dream the dreamers dreamed—
Let it be that great strong land of love
Where never kings connive nor tyrants scheme
That any man be crushed by one above.
(It never was America to me.)
