where is my mind

Well this was a particular pickle she found herself in. 
Shit! 
I forgot what I was going to say 
I think there was a point I wanted to make 
or some opinion I wanted to state. 
My feeling is that it was important to me 
but damn I let it slip away. 
I let my mind wander and wonder 
left it distracted by new line 
one better suited for another rhyme. 
It could easily stand alone, 

on it’s own…
I want to share it 
but to have it read, out of context,
not sure I could bear it
I really should finish this one 
before I meddle in another partial set of sentences
but I lost that train of thought
